II. Project Description:
- Purpose of the Democratic Leadership Program:

The purpose of the Democratic Leadership Program operating under the ENC is to promote a democratic mindset throughout the movement at all levels, through strategic use of Democratic Leadership Workshops.

- Strategy we will use to promote this purpose:

The primary target groups for workshops will be the younger generation and ethnic groups, including women's organizations; however leaders support will be sought through awareness rising among them and by inviting them to participate where possible along with the younger people in DLWs.

- Vision:
To promote Democratic Leadership within movement organizations

To impart the skills needed for the leadership to practice a democratic style of leadership which empowers the people to participate in the political process and

To encourage members of the movement to embrace Democratic Leadership concept to their work for the democratic movement

Methodology:
We will conduct the workshops using participatory methodology and try to be relevant to the participants' situation and skills needed to practice a participatory methodology within movement to promote civil society.

We believe targeting younger people and women are a good strategy for our purpose, as they are more open to learning about this approach.
